I have really oily skin, any suggestions?

My skin is very oily, i find myself using oil blotters all the time. Also i have to wash my hair everyday or else my scalp gets really greasy. I'm sick of oily skin, any ideas?I have really oily skin, any suggestions?
For your skin, try getting into a routine. That seems to assist in calming the skin down. You can actually overdry your face and make it produce MORE oil.

I would suggest a routine that involves a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. I really like those facial cleansing cloths, b/c they are disposable. Unlike a washcloth or fingers, you're not spreading the bacteria. Follow with a toner (like Sea Breeze or witch hazel) and a very light moisturizer (like Clean and Clear--has salicylic acid to prevent breakouts). I also love the blotting power by MAC--it doesn't add pigment to your face, but takes care of the shine without caking up or ruining your makeup. Also, I love the clay masque by Freeman Beauty (clay and avocado-- Walmart). It's great to minimize pores, absorb oils, and draws out impurities.

For your hair, try using a clarifying or stripping shampoo. When you shampoo, really scrub your scalp and massage it, to exfoliate. This should help some of the greasiness.

Good luck!I have really oily skin, any suggestions?
On one hand, oily skin is a good thing. It keeps you from getting wrinkles. The down side is it gives you acne. I use to have a big problem with oily skin and I started using Clinique Products. Then I moved to Proactiv. Most people have excessive oily skin because they over dry their skin, which makes it produce even more oil. So check out the Clinique Counter at your local mall. They are even good about giving you samples. And best of all, if you don't like it or it doesn't work you can always exchange it for lip gloss or eye shadows.

the oil on your face prevents wrinkles as you get older. so its good to have oily skin.
Well when you wash your face in the morning dry it....don't wipe...blot with your towel. Then sprinkle some baby powder in your hands rub them together and then smooth it over your face, not so much that the powder is visable...just work it into your skin. Those rice paper blotters are really good just to keep in your pocket or purse. And only use WATER based makeup.
Dont eat very greasy foods, wash face regularly, and drink alot of water
use something with tea tree oil, it works really well to help oily skin be less oily.

Also, washes or cleansing pads with sasilic acid in them dry the skin out a bit, and they work pretty well for oily skin.

Try using a face mask or peel once a week to help get rid of dead skin cells and keep your pores clear so that the oil doesn't cause acne.

Wash every day once in morning and even once at night if your skin is really oily.

If you are having a lo9t of trouble, try going to a dermatologist who can prescribe you a wash or creme that is stronger than over the counter washes and creams and can work wonders for your skin.

Hope I helped! :)
Join a gym that has a sauna. A sauna is hot and steamy and you sweat in it, say for an hour, then you shower. It cleans the skin from the inside out.
you can use tomatoes on your face to absorb all the oil..but frequently wash your face and not eat oily food's as much.........or..if it is really bad...you can go to the doctors...and he/she can give you medicine to make the oil dissappear or lessen it. ....i hope i helped!
r oily skin-wash your face with gentle products, preferably the ones that are non-comedogenic(oil-free), use oil blotting sheets to mop up the oil (can be found drug stores). Try not to touch your face either because this can cause you to breakout. If you have pimples, i suggest you to use a small amount of tee tree oil on the affected area. Dont forget to drink plenty of water!
use garnier fructis oil-control moisturizer for the face. i think thats what its called. u can buy it at like cvs and stuff
