I used to have really bad acne, but I whent to a dermotologist and ever since I got my perscription my face has been pretty clear. But my skin is still really oily and my pores are large. does anyone know anything that can help?? homemade facial masks? or scrubs? Even over the counter stuff?? Please help! I have been told that my bad skin is the only thing holding me back from acting\modeling jobs.=[[What can I do about my oily skin?
Don't listen to your doctor or other people on YA when they tell you to use prescription or shelf product like Neutrogena. These products act as ';band-aids'; and only give the appearance of clearing the skin. The reason your skin is oily is because it is dried out. Your body is compensating for lack of moisture. All you need to do is drink about 8-10 glasses a day of water, cut out excess sugar and salt and STOP SCRUBBING YOUR FACE WITH ANY FORM

OF SOAP WHATSOEVER. Only wash the face with warm water and a washcloth, scrubbing gently upward. Moisturize your face with cocoa butter or jojoba oil. To shrink your pores, slather an egg-white on you face and let it dry. This works wonders!

I promise this works. This may sound like a wierd way to get rid of oily skin or even acne, but it is the most natural way and REALLY WORKS. Good luck! What can I do about my oily skin?
Ladeedah, is pretty right on. You have to use natural ingredients only! You can also try this African soap if you want: it's amazing http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss?url=se鈥?/a>
