Shouldn't the two balance each other out?How is it that the skin on my face is both oily and dry so needs moisturising?
Its probably dehydration. Oily skin can become dehydrated from lack of moisture not oil. Dry skin is usually a lack of oil. What you need to do is find an oil free moisturizer and drink lots of water. On the other hand if your skin is oily is some places like the T-zone (forehead nose and chin) and dry in others like your cheeks then you could have combination skin as said in another answer. If thats the case then you could do one of two things. You could treat both areas with different products or you could buy products meant for combination skin. Either way I would still stick to an oil free moisturizer. How is it that the skin on my face is both oily and dry so needs moisturising?
As posted before, it's called combination skin. Your glands always compensate for the dryness in your skin by producing excess oil. Which is why skin should always be moisturized because it needs hydration (water hydration). Your skin's production of excess oil (most likely the t-zone), could be addressed by using toner and a mattifying moisturizer. Some people recommend using two different types of moisturizers for the different problem areas.
You need to use a good face wash, toner and then a moisturiser for combination skin. Wash your face at night and use a night cream. You will see the difference in two weeks, The initial financial outlay may not be great, but you don't have to replenish these all at the same time and they last a while. Good luck
that means your skin is too dry. when your skin is overly dry it will produce more oil too even it out but it often produces to much oil. so throughout the day your skin will get very oily but right after you wash it its dry. just try using a light moisturizer that wont clog pores. i recommend the proactive green tea moisturizer or aveeno.
hope that helps
I have the same problem. I always have. I am 30 and have gone through countless products in my life. The best one I have found is Dermalogica for oily skin. It is a bit spendy, but its your skin! You can get a sample kit for about $15 on ebay if you want to try it before commiting to it....
It's called combination skin. You can buy cleansers and moisturisers specifically for your skin type. They wouldn't ';balance each other out'; because your face is oily in some parts and dry in others.
yeah..my face is like that to
i suggest differen, you can get it from the pharmacy or at your dermitologist

Do i really have to put on moisturizer even if my skin is already oily?
my skin is really oily as it is, esp my T-zone. Im just wondering if i have to put on moisturizer at night. whats the best way to beat oiliness? thanks.Do i really have to put on moisturizer even if my skin is already oily?
yes u have to use it especially during the day. we have oil-free mosturisers for people with oily or combination skin
why dont u try neutrogena oil-free range? its very good for oily and combination skin.
it includes oil-free facial wash, oil-free mosturiser and daily facial scrub.
the 3 of them together remove acne and blackheads, acne marks and control oil production in ur face and prevents future breakouts of acne and blackheadsDo i really have to put on moisturizer even if my skin is already oily?
well if you're putting moisturizer on oily skin, then your skin is absorbing that good moisture and not oily junk that gives you zits and your body wont produce as much oil if you're giving it to your skin already.
if you have oily skin and are being told to purchase a moisturizer by a beauty advisor, she/he is trying to make a sale. you don't need it. wash well twice a day using a cotton wash cloth to keep the dead skin exfoliating, which will keep down acne and black heads.
Dont put on moisturiser at night. Thats the time when your skin has to regenerate itself and it cant do it very well when the pores are clogged up with lotion. Try using a LIGHT lotion only in the morning after cleansing, and also use a witch hazek toner because it will help clear up the oil.use of mensovit plustablet

What are the good toners for oily skin?
yea sunWhat are the good toners for oily skin?
Go to trader Joe's. they have a ton of tea tree oil blemish and skin care stuff. you will probably find a toner there. plus its natural. What are the good toners for oily skin?
Have you ever heard of BeautiControl? They have this wonderful stuff called All Clear... it's like pro-active, I LOVE IT! I don't even really have bad skin to begin with so I thought it would dry out my skin really bad, but no it keeps it really regulated well. They have this toner that you have to shake up before each use because there are little white micro-beads that sink to the bottom, it's a very strong astringent/toner, but it's nothing I can't even handle and I have pretty sensitive skin!
Clean and Clear has a good one.

I have very oily skin, and I break out just about everyday, and it stresses me out. :( Does anyone know if Neutrogena Acne stress Control products is for oily and acne prone skin?
Stress can increase acne so stop stressing! Look carefully at labels. I do know that Neutrogena makes a line of normal skin and oily skin products. If these products don't help after a month or so, time for a trip to the doctor. They can get your acne under control with the proper treatment. Be patient acne treatments can take up to 3 months to see the full results.

I have REALLY oily skin (on my face only) and need some help to fight this.?
It is to the point that I don't wear any type of foundation make-up on my face or lotions- and my face is STILL oily!!I have REALLY oily skin (on my face only) and need some help to fight this.?
just because you have oily skin dont stop wearing makeup if that what you like. I have oily skin specially aroung my nose and foreheand and chin. I use mineral makeup and it help to absord the oil. I also use and oil control moisterizer, face scrub and toner at night to control it. I use the moisterizer under my make up and it seems to have helped a bit. I still get that shine that i hate but i use the oil blotting pads and i used it every once in a while when i feel my face it too oily and i always carry a traslucante powder that i brush on face whe the shine comes back. it helps even though at times i feel like this is alot to control oil.I have REALLY oily skin (on my face only) and need some help to fight this.?

Join the club! i have really oily skin.
you have to be vigilant with your skin. cleanser, toner, lotion
i started using the clean %26amp; clear line for oily skin. Its a white and green bottle that says ';morning burst';
the oil control lotion has worked wonders on my face.
I've also used the Mary Kay line in the past and it worked great but was too much to pay for.
THe one thing you have to remember is to wash and tone.. i use the oxy pads, they work great to get the dead skin off your face.
twice a day washing a must
i sugest you use mary kay oil control lotion.since i started using it last year, my face has stopped being oily.
give it a try.
gud luk!!!
I have the same problem too, but i agree with the others. u don't have to stop wearing makeup even if u have oily skin. u just need to keep a strict cleaning regime.
make sure u cleanse, tone and moisturise at least twice a day using an oil-control product. u should use a lotion instead of a cream for moisturising as there is less oil in it.
use a face exfoliator but not more than twice a week, any more than that will cause the more oily skin. u can try a homemade recipe using crushed oats, lemon juice and chopped cucumber.
put a mask on once to twice a week also. try yoghurt, chopped tomatoes and lemon juice, mix it well and leave it on ur face for at least 15mins. if it works well u can use it up to 3 times a week.
as for makeup, u need to use an oil control primer before u put foundation on. for foundation don't use liquid ones cos they are oil-based and causes more oil to the skin. try using a compact instead.
also keep a pack of oil-blotting pads in ur handbag. it comes in handy when ur out.
hope i've helped :)
i agree just coz u have oily skin don't mean you can't were make up just wash your face twice a day and use a triple action lotion

I have a oily skin filled with black spot should i use closeup- tothpaste on the black spot?
and also have anyone tried Iq derma 3 step acne kit and does it work 4 blackspotI have a oily skin filled with black spot should i use closeup- tothpaste on the black spot?
use biore blackhead control, it works for acne and blackheads and as you put it on it becomes warm so it goes deeper into the pores. toothpaste is for drying out, as in drying out pimples. if you have blackheads, you have bigger pores, so the toothpaste will get into your pores a little and just make it worseI have a oily skin filled with black spot should i use closeup- tothpaste on the black spot?
Try spot treating with BP - Benzyl Peroxide or even tea tree oil
I've always had problems with my skin, until I heard of this natural product called DMSO. It's amazing and all natural. You can find it in lotion form at any natural foods stores. I put it on my face, and within 1 week it got rid of ALL of my acne(which I've been battling for over 2 years) got rid of all imperfections and made my face really soft. I haven't had a problem since!
don't use toothpaste. if you use the wrong kind it can make your skin inflamed.
are they blackheads? if they are you can go to a facialist and she can give you an extracion facial. they use these metal tools to squeeze them out. try using acne exterminator. it comes in an orange tube and it stops new acne from forming.

I only get oily skin at school?
My skin gets a little oily whilst at school. However when I go to different places (Like all day..) and at school breaks my skin doesn't get oily at all!
How can I reduce oil throughout the school day?
Thanks xxI only get oily skin at school?
Superdrug's Clarity oil absorbing sheets. Only 99p for a small 65 sheet 'booklet'. Has translucent powder on it for a matt finish. I swear by it on my T-Zone during school too =P xxI only get oily skin at school?
There are many ways to keep from oily skin. You can go out and buy those oil absorbing sheets that you can carry in your bookbag and wherever you go. It absorbs the oil from your face and you can just throw out the sheet after you're done. If you're face isn't too seriously oily, you can try using an Oil Free face wash in the morning so your skin has less oil to start with.
Asked to be excused to the restroom or between classes use the oil blot pads or for a fast fix you can use those sanitary toilet paper covers, tear a peice off and blot
You wouldnt believe me but put on some moisterizer. Your skin is actually telling you that is is getting dried out so try some very light moisterizer.hope it works for you
eww, that school sounds pretty disgusting!! sorry, can't help you!
It could be that you are nervous when you go to school so your face sweats which clogs your pores. Wash your face before you go to school-- or even in the bathroom at school! Not if you are wearing makeup tho that could get ugly. haha try some oil free acne products. =)
An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/

What do dermatologist recomend for supper oily skin?
The best thing for super oily skin is to wash it daily with a mild soap like Clinique's #3, and to exfoliate. You can do this using a warm wet washcloth. Don't rub hard, just lightly. This will remove the dead skin cells that get trapped in the oil and clog pores. Use a light toner afterward's (like clinique;'s #3)
Remember, oily skin now, less wrinkles when you are older!
To help your skin appear less shiny during the day, blot it often with tissues. What do dermatologist recomend for supper oily skin?

hello, did anyone think about the side effect of bath soaps on face and hair ? here you can use ayurvedic toilet soap to wash your face , its base is coconut oil or vegetarian oil. but you have to avoid oily foods, fried items and bakery items to get more result.somebody suggested you to use himalayas neem face wash..it is herbal, try to use it, i found some good result with this.

Is ponds beauty products good for a 16-year old with oily and sensitive skin?
how about their facial powder? Is ponds beauty products good for a 16-year old with oily and sensitive skin?
i wouldn't recommend ponds as a brand... no. oily and sensitve, go for maybe a garnier (fresh or proA) if you like drugstore products... they often will mail out coupons for garnier as well, so you might be in luck. you could also go to clinique, lancome, or whatever beauty counters are in your local department stores and ask their advice. if they want a sale they'll give you some samples to try out. an in between product you might like: VichyIs ponds beauty products good for a 16-year old with oily and sensitive skin?
I would probably recommend herbal essences or head and shoulders. most people think that head and shoulders is just dandruff but it is also for oily hair to. and herbal essences is packed with vitamins and minerals for hair.
I DON'T KNOW...
maybe not.... the frangrance it contains might irritate your skin.... its best to go with clinique cosmetics

Which kind of face creams can apply for oily skin?
use Oil of Olay the orginal one....
i have used this for years and i swear its the miracle cream. My mom also used is and she has the best skinWhich kind of face creams can apply for oily skin?
Gel or water-based products. Creams will clog your pores and lead to acnes.Which kind of face creams can apply for oily skin?
You can try to go to Bath %26amp; Body Shop Store to get some facial liquid wash %26amp; face cream that apply to your skin type or you can try Clinique brand, it's kind of expensive but really worth it. If you decide to go to any store, you can try dove, neutrogena, or oil of olay for oily skin type.
I have had great success with Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin. It does not cause acne, and it will not irritate your skin if you decide to use it along with an acne treatment. It's light, creamy, got great texture, and no gross fragrance. This product is truly genius; I go through it so fast!

Anyway, the word that you want to look for on the lotion bottle is noncomedogenic. This means, in simple terms, that the lotion has been dermatologist-tested and will not clog your pores. The label ';Oil-free'; or ';For Oily Skin'; is not enough.
I've also had success with Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion; it's great and has won lots of awards too.

An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/

For oily skin (face) what works the best when your on a budget?
I wash and scrub 2x a day even go for a few days without make up, and I still get pimples that seem to just stay for ages ...weeks !!For oily skin (face) what works the best when your on a budget?
mary kay products... for real.. we have products for every skin type including acne control and oil controlFor oily skin (face) what works the best when your on a budget?
I believe washing your face three times a day with toilet soap will do the magic Report Abuse
the best thing to do is just not use anything at all to wash your face for people that have oily skin..just wash your face 2-3 times daily...or shower twice a day w/o using any type of cosmetic Report Abuse
i know this may sound gross, but rubbgin egg yolk on your face with a cotton ball for 30 days it should help. do it daily and always make sure the cotton ball is always clean and that there is no egg white in it. its gross but it works
There's a facial soap by Johnson %26amp; Johnson called Purpose. I usually go to Walmart and get mines for $3 and some change. It works.
use Nutrogena for oily skin or try Cetaphil Cleanser, wash ur face with Cetaphil Cleanser twice a day{or more} and ur pimples should be gone in about a week or two! GOOD LUCK!
Use a clay mask. Olay makes a good one. It feels so clean after wards!
I use Pro-active or St.Ives apricot scrub!
I know how you feel. I've been struggling with oily skin and acne forever! I've tried so many products from high end (like Sisley) to low end (Purpose). I have finally come across an excellent soap for my skin which works wonders for my skin. It's from this small company called Splash (www.splashbathandbody) - they make this soap called Claytime Complexion which is amazing. There are no weird chemicals in there. It is basically french clay (to help dry out exisitng acne and keep skin clean and prevent) and chamomile (which is going to soothe your skin and help fade old acne scars). I LOVE it. My skin is looking a lot better than before. A huge plus is that it is CHEAP! It is sold by the pound. So a typical bar is like $5 and that will last you around 2 months or so. I've also been using their toner and spot treatment, but the soap is AMAZING. I've made samples of the bars I have and sent them to friends and they all love it! Try it!!
To combat oily skin, I use an astringent (preferably twice a day) after cleansing; use a mask once a week; use oil-free makeup; and those oil blotter sheets throughout the day (they won't take off the makeup, just the oil). Hope this helps.
milk and chinese lemon will do. just scrub it onto your face and it will remove your makeup effectively, plus, it moisturizes your skin and will make it supple.
This WORKS!! ';Dr. Bronner's 18-in-1 Pure-Castile Soap';, if you can't find it, try drugstore.com. I ran into it by accident, but this soap is organic and doesn't have all the chemicals like regular soap does. I truly believe that the acne creams and soaps causes our skin to break out, because they over dry our skin! I had acne my whole life, but this if the only thing that works for me. I now use it as shampoo and all over my body. The bottle is under 10 dollars and it last forever, you can put a little and it lathers up really good. The first time you use it you'll notice the difference, because your skin just feels clean. NO residue, NO over dryness, NO smell, just a clean feeling I've never felt. I know you keep hearing promises, but ORGANIC is the way!
I reccoment OXY Chill Factor Face Pads, Only use them once a day, and your pimples will be gone in a few days.
don't wash your face so much, it makes your skin even more oily.
i have dry/acne prone skin. Sometime it feels dry and sometimes it feel oily, and I get red around my cheaks and forhead. I have tried just about everything. What works good is AVENO bar soap for dry skin 2.99$. The oakmeal seems to calm and regulate oily skin. Sometime acne skin could be from dry skin, That is what my Dermo. tells me. Give AVENO a try.
The Body Shop has a great Tea Tree Oil line. It is well worth the money and lasts a very long time. You could try several cheaper options that dont give you any results, or spend the $10 on the right product the first time. If there is not a Body Shop store near you please email me for my website. porch_princess@yahoo.com
Benzoil peroxide wash and drink at least 6-8 cups of purified water a day.
The scrub is probably aggrivating your skin by creating micro tears in your skin inviting in all types of bacteria.
The benzoil perxoide forces oxygen into your skin which kills the bacteria and therefore will clear up your skin. You will be very dry and perhaps a little flaky at first, but get a nice hydrator and you'll be set.
Most important, however, keep your hands off your face!
NOXZEMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are several companies that sell wonderful products and all of them may work, but if you are having recurring problems you probably need to see your doctor or dermatologist. Pimples can be caused by many different things including bacteria. Products will only clear up the problem temporarily and then return is that's the case.
equate face wash i love love it its so amazing!!!!and it works with a budget
Stridex and cetahpil

I would prefer you to choose Oil Removal Films for a tight budget.
Cetaphil.
You definately need a daily regiman. I found one called Pore-fection from avon that won't break the bank. for oily skin a 2 in 1 cleanser toner is good. and every 2 to 3 days using a Mud Mask will help shrink your pores and reduce oily areas.
using a toner prior to applying make-up will help. Find a light foundation. something sheer or made specifically for oily skin.
Also using micro dot sheet through out the day help pick up excess oil without messing up make up.
Once you have your regiman going you will begin noticing a difference.
clean and clear oil control
im assuming you are worried about pimples...? id bare vitamins... its not really vitamins, its kind of like face lotion. it usually goes for $5-7, and it works great! it can get rid of pimples in about three days. apply day and night.
its alot cheaper than mary kay, and usually works better.
if you want natural remedies, you can squeeze lemon on your zits. it will dry them out.
also, if you have white tooth paste...the opaque kind, you can put it on your pimples and it turns them into scabs, and then you can use neosporin to get rid of them.
just some ideas.
the scab you get, use neosporin on it.. it comes off waay faster and heals quick.. i know its not a budget item , i think its 6 or 7 dollars.. but it lasts forever and works awsome!
Neutrogena has a good soap for oily skin.
witchhazel. or Blue star ointment. You can buy these at a larger drug store. If you cannot find them as the clerk. lol
Above all, be glad you don't have dry skin. I know it sounds corny, but in 20 years you'll looks a decade younger than your normal-skinned friends, trust me.
Try Proactiv it works great they have a Daily Oil Control that helps BIG time specially if you use there 3 step system and it will clear up any acne you have and prevent future problems. Try it!
Rub a cut lemon over your face 3 x per day. It cuts the oil. You should even leave it on when you can.

Mary Kay is the best skin care regimen that I've found! My skin is oily and has pimples i need help with the best cream to use for my skin...plzz help?
If I were you the first thing I'd do is see a dermatologist. I wouldn't try any off-the-counter creams because skin, especially on the face, is VERY sensitive and everybody is different so what others say works for them might not work for you. What you should do in the meantime is wash regularly with water, stay off foundation, and stay off creams. You might just make things worse by trying these.
i think the best way is to go to a drematologist ^_^ watch what you eat though %26amp; see what causes you to break out =) dring plenty of water %26amp; try showering %26amp; washing your face regularly ^-^
You know what you could do is..
1. Wash your face a lot during the day with normal soap.
2. When you go to public bathrooms you know the seat covers? U can use those took take oil of your face. Just press it on your skin and you can even see the oil on the paper.
def try your dermatologist and also go to an allergy specialist to make sure you're not allergic to anything. make sure you drink teas with antioxidants, basically green teas. incorporate more leafy veggies in you diet and cut out major sugars. anything with high fructose corn syrup=bad. i used to get eruptions everywhere till i changed the way i eat. oh yeah, no fast food, avoid greasy. try drinking soy or using aveeno, if your def not allergic to soy. hope that helps! :D
Peace

DO NOT cover it with make up. Wash your face, cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize (non-oil based), and all that jazz. You could also use plotting sheets to get rid of the oil.How do i make my skin less oily?
Firstly using substances derived from vitamin A like retin-a or tazarotene, to reduce inflammation of the skin and to unplug pores. Retin-A can cause skin reddening at first but this is quite normal as the skin's blood supply is improved and younger looking skin begins to appear presenting a youthful complexion. Using a product that includes zinc will also help the vitamin a function better.

dont put makeup over it, use blotting sheets! it takes off the oil without even messing up your makeup
i spend prbably like 50 dollars on these sheets a year
Putting anything on it to soak it up is just going to make it worse!
Do you moisturize after you wash your face? If not, you should. Otherwise, you can try some OTC products for oily skin and see if those work. I'd personally recommend Neutrogena.. in my experience, their products work the best.
Whatever you do, avoid the makeup until you solve this problem. The makeup combined with the oil will make your face break out.
1. Cleanse ; wash twice a day with the ridht mid-cleanser - rinse well with COLD water to help tighten your pores.
-- %26gt; try. '; Olay Deep Cleansing Face Wash ';
2. Tone ; use the right toner after washing - it will dissolve any pore-clogging makeup or cleanser residue left on your skin
--%26gt; try. ';Tee This is Your Wake-Up Call Toner, sephora.com ';
3. Treat ; use the right scrub or mask twice a week after cleansing - store it in the fridge fir a cool, soothing effect.
--%26gt; try. ';Dermalogica Anti-Bac Cooling Masque ';
4. Moisture ; use the right non greasy lotion daily on damp skin for better absorption.
For the morning try. '; Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion with SPF 15';
For night try. ';Vichy Normaderm Anti-imperfection hydrating care';
5. Drink lots of water. Water helps flush out acne causing bacteria.
you should wash your face once in the morning and once at night .. if your skin isnt naturally really oily you could be using face wash that is drying your skin out so much its producing more oil or you need to use a stronger one... you really need to just try a few things and see whats best .. aveeno foaming wash works really good along with neutrogena
Use an exfoliater every day as your face wash. Make sure its oil free. This will make your skin feel smooth and soft and get rid of oil, plus get rid of acne!! I put mine on in the shower-make sure you scrub your face for about 1minute. And make sure you get the right kind because some exfoliators are made for dry skin, which will do the opposite of what you need. Another answer would be do an acne treatment such as Murad (love it-works great) because this will dry your skin while preveting acne. Then if it becomes too dry then put a little moisturizer.
TRY WASHING IT EVERY DAY TRY ST IVES BLEMISH CONTROL I THINK THATS WHAT IT IS CALLED ALSO YOU CAN TRY ST IVES FACIAL SCRUB THAT MIGHT HELP. THEY BOTH CAN BE PURCHASED AT YOUR LOCAL DRUGSTORE . GOOD LUCK I HOPE YOU FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AND I HOPE IT HELPS
Peppermint tea %26amp; Green tea as a toner and if needed to get rid of excess oil thruout the day. Refrigerate.
Apple cider vinegar mixed with equal parts of water as a toner.
I've tried all of theses and my favorite is the apple cider vinegar because it's cheap, doesn't have to be refrigerated and you don't have to brew it like the tea.
Hope this helps!!!!
Wash your face two or three times a day with a mild cleanser that does not include perfumes or additives. Keep your skin very clean, but do not scrub too hard.
Use an oil-free moisturizer and cosmetics.
Use a clay-based face mask two or three times a week.
Choose products containing alpha-hydroxy acids, which remove dead cells and give skin a smoother appearance.
Mash up a small amount of papaya for your own fruit acid mask. Smear it on your skin, leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse.
Steam your skin several times a week. Add chamomile, lavender oil or dried herbs such as rosemary, parsley or thyme to the water.
Keep your skin hydrated by drinking at least eight glasses of water a day.
Reduce fats and oils in your diet. Increase your intake of fresh vegetables, fruits and whole grains.
Watch your sun exposure. Although the sun may seem to dry your skin, too much heat actually stimulates the production of more oil.
Supplement your diet with B-complex vitamins, vitamin A, vitamin C, zinc and vitamin E. You can also take a high-potency multivitamin.

Use a powder instead of a concealer.
Powder (especially pressed powder helps keep you shine free)
Also instead of the oil-free moisturiser (those never work) check if they have a mattifying lotion.
If I remember right there's one in the pore refine, or complexion free range.
And some face wipes. One at lunch time generally helps to keep you fresh and clean till home time.

Hi Sharon. I use Mary Kay products. I've never tried clinique. What I use that you can look into no matter what brand of facial products you use is Mary Kay's Oil Mattifier. I have oily skin myself and while this doesn't totally get rid of it it helps tone it down some. You can do an ebay search and find it pretty cheap. Through Mary Kay it is $15 I think, but you can find it for $3-$5 on ebay plus shipping. Hope this helps!
like you applied vaseline? wow, you have a problem. Yes, use baby powder, it absorbs the oil. it may work for you.
Well, I've heard that drinking alot of water helps...
buy some oil blotting papers at ur local drugstore
Scrub it daily!
Oh no. vaseline is not good on your skin for oily people because that only clogs the pores, causes zits, and makes your skin look and feel more oily. No, i think you should use Mary Kay. They have a whole line of products for women with oily skin. they have a skin care system, foundations (you pick your color, and then request it in medium coverage), oil-blotting tissues (which will help for oily patches during the day), and oil mattifier (which you can also use during the day and it won't disturb your make up). In the link below you can find a Mary Kay consultant. If you don't understand everything that I just siad, you can ask her. She'll know exactly what you need for oily skin!
drink lots of water, eat plenty of fresh fruits n vegetables, avoid greasy n oily foods loki peanuts, wash ur face twice or thrice a day, u can rub tomato slices or face masks containing lemon to reduce oiliness... hope this helps
I have oily acne prone skin
I've been using Panoxly face soap bar
It helps prevent break out and my face isnt as oily...
Even though your skin is oily, you still have to use moistuizer...
The oils in your face is what will help keep you young as you age...
Right now, i am using Mary Kay face lotion TimeWise庐 Age-Fighting Moisturizer Sunscreen SPF 15
It doesnt make my face oily at all, and by the end of the day its not nearly as bad as it use to be
i don't know about clinique - but try powder....esp. babypowder
try oil control lotion 3 or oil mattifier by Mary Kay, they both work very good and control oil/ shine for up to eight hours
http://www.marykay.com/s_azad/skincare/s鈥?/a>
Try to put some cocoa powder mixed with water for 10 minutes on your skin.
You can wash your skin with some sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), or sodium hydrogen carbonate, also known as baking soda solution.
Well, I don't know about Clinique.... But I had the same problem. So, to get rid of ';oil'; I started using the ';Safeguard'; soap for washing my face only (morning and before sleep). From the beginning it wasn't enough, 'cause somewhere in the afternoon I'd start shining like a lamp! So, I also applied some of that Nivea Visage ';Shine reduce moisturizing fluid'; (ehhh... don't know how to translate it correctly - on German it's called ';Glanzreduzierendes Feuchtigkeitsfluid';). It really worked great! Now I'm just on Safeguard twice per day!
I love oil control lotion, by Mary Kay!I used it all humid, hot, sticky summer long, and I love it!(my hubby uses it to)

I have really oily skin! What should I do to make it less oily?
I feel your pain my 12 year old daughter has horrible oily skin. I found a website that has natural remedies that you can make and use at home. I will send you some, they work really well.
Peace
GGI have really oily skin! What should I do to make it less oily?
I usually wash my hands and then lotion them.I have really oily skin! What should I do to make it less oily?
Don't over wash with normal soap
At mininum, you should cleanse, tone, and moisturize two times daily. I would also suggest a product called a Personalizer. It is a natural product that has a sea kelp base (a natural oil absorber). It comes in a compact like a pressed powder. You can put it on throughout the day to absorb your oil. I can get you more information if you are interested.

How can I 'get rid of' my oily skin?!?
My face is very oily and...awful. ):How can I 'get rid of' my oily skin?!?
Try a facial cleanser which is especially for oily skin. I've seen these cleansers from brands such as clinique, neutrogena, origins, etc.How can I 'get rid of' my oily skin?!?

Try the oil control essence in the source 1 as your makeup base. My friends with very oily faces try it and they love it because it could control the oil on their faces for the long day.
And source 2 is some methods to tackle oily skin in the long-run.

I've been getting random breakouts lately, weird skin, very oily...?
My skin looks weird, it looks like im going through puberty all over again.
What are some remedies I can do to even my skintone, rid the oil, and properly cleanse it.I've been getting random breakouts lately, weird skin, very oily...?
dont eat chocolate french fries kfc and popcorn so much, clean your face with soap(normal soap or your face will get all dry) 3 or 2 times a dayI've been getting random breakouts lately, weird skin, very oily...?
proactive is the best thing and you don't have to use it all the time ! Look into it!
Try using Kirk's Castile soap when washing your face. You can buy it at Kroger's %26amp; many other stores. Wash you face well with warm water %26amp; use a washcloth using circular motions. Rinse your face well, then pat your face well. You may have to wash your face two to three times daily, especially at bedtime.
ok so what works wonders for me is i went to winco, and i bought a facial sponge,,,,they are pretty soft but not that soft, and i got an acne cleanser such as clean n' clear, and i put it on the sponge with warm water and scrub my face and now it is like perfect skin, i mean there are still a few blemishes, but overall looks great!
a mild face cleaner and/or exfoliant daily and spot treatment for breakouts...
DO NOT USE PROACTIVE!! try this acne free they sell kits at walamrt and they are like 18 dollars. it really cleared up my skin
proactive is what I use. exept i'm 14
Well, washing your face and stuff with soap and warm water. Noxzema does wonders, but yet so does Proactive (you'll get used to the stinging XD)
You should check the ingredients in your soaps too. Good soaps should have a little bit of this citric acid (or so my Science teacher says), where bad ones leave suds and all of that grimy stuff in the bathroom sink.
I love Pro Active. It really does work.I
Soap and warm water.
Did you just moved to another place?
Changed your diet recently?
Any changes you've done?
Consider these factors because they might cause oily skin and the likes.
But as for now, wash with cetaphil and use toner so you'll get rid of the oil and cleanse it.
What I do is wash my face when I'm in the shower, and then I just leave it the way it is. Then again, I don't have bad acne, so that may not be the best answer...

How to get rid of oily shiny skin?
my face is shinny and some what oily, the fact that it is shinny just makes it look more oily... how do i keep it from being shinny and oily? is it possible to make the skin on your face more light too???How to get rid of oily shiny skin?
Okay so i have bad acne too. Just listen.
In the mornings when you wake up, and when you go to bed, wash your face with either a cleanser or bar of soap. pat dry. and then use benzoyl peroxide.
now your not going to see results instantly. keep doing this for a couple months and youll see a big difference over time :)
i reccommend:
Dove sensitive soap bar
Neutrogena benzoyl peroxide
also use some sunscreen when youll be in the sun a lot. it dries out the skin way too much and might cause more break outs.
and if you use make up look for oil free products( just read the back, it should say wheter its water or oil based)How to get rid of oily shiny skin?
You can try Chlorella Gel Cleanser. It is made of edible algae and contains vitamins, Carotene, chlorophyll, amine acids, proteins, SOD enzyme, alga polysaccharides . Chlorella Gel Cleanser can clean corneous cells, sebum, sweat, dust, and get ride of pimples quickly.
Take a juice of any fruit (orange, sweet lime, watermelon or papaya) and apply on the face as a mask. It cleanses the skin, closes pores and removes oilness. For more details on oily skin log on to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/
I have oily skin as well. Every morning, before applying any creams or makeup, I always apply a primer all over my face. It helps keep makeup on longer for girls, but for guys as well, primer alone will minimize the oil and shine throughout the day. If you want to really get that matte look, lightly dust your face with a light powder, using a big brush. I use Lise Watier's Pore Minimizing Primer, as well as Estee Lauder's Pressed Scented Powder. This combination always works. Any primer and powder, I think, would be really effective.
Towards the middle to the end of the day, I use blotting sheets or if I don't have any, I use the toilet paper to blot the excess oil from my face. Believe it or not, the toilet paper at school or stores, the really not-cotton-smooth ones work exactly the same as blotting sheets and are just as effective and handy.
Hope this helps!
I would suggest get some really good face cleaner and wash your face every morning and night (or as directed.) Be sure if you have sensitive skin, to get some that's for sensitive skin!
i don't really understand your question, but you can use cleansers for oily skin, and it reduces it, and if your face gets oily, get some rice paper!
it absorbs the oil sooo much! (:

AND NO IN MY OPINION Neutrogena DOESNT WORK!
PRO ACTIVE DOES THOUGH! YES YOULL BREAK OUT BAD IN THE BEG. BUT THEN AFTER ITS GREAT!My skin is oily, and i get blackheads?
It does, but not by itself, more like an extra to add to a few cleansers or medicines like this:
The OXY bar soap is good for oily skin and it's a pretty gentle cleaser, but it's hard to get now that stores have been selling it less.
The Neutrogena Wave works well for treatment and prevention, if you buy it use freezing water.
For your whiteheads and pimples you've popped, use Polysporin or another first aid antibiotic ointment, because it heals the place without drying it out. Be careful though to only use it on the worse ones, and not too much.
BenzaClin is a prescription medicine you use during the day on a wider range of problem spots. It dries out your skin and helps acne.
If you don't have problems with dry skin, Differin, another prescription medicine works. Clearsil Ultra pads are good and you can find them in any store, but they can dry out your skin, so be careful.
Some Oil Absorbing sheets should help keep your skin less oily, use those as much as you need to.
You don't want to use too many products at once, especially layering on creams, because it just makes it worse. So don't use multiple drying products.

Try a mattifier. You can find them in the drug store in the skin treatments section, usually around the acne products. You put it on after you wash your face in the morning. Then you can put on makeup, if you use it. Then during the day carry blotting papers with you. They are thin sheets of tissue like paper that sometime have powder on them. You use them to blot excess oil during the day.

What's a good foundation for oily skin that stays on for the full 8 hours?
preferably something i can find at a drug store and thats under $20.00?What's a good foundation for oily skin that stays on for the full 8 hours?
covergirl powder, its only about 7 dollars at drugstores or target or walmart
dont use the dream matte mousse foundation, that slides of right away on oily skinWhat's a good foundation for oily skin that stays on for the full 8 hours?
loreal bare mineral about 13 dollars
probably etude...try it.....it workd for me.....had the same prob..
I've had good luck with Revlon ColorStay for Combination/Oily skin. The most important thing is a primer or mattifying moisturizer under your makeup to help it stay on and control oil. Biore makes one that is pretty good - the best I've tried is Bliss Steep Clean but it's really expensive.
Superfit Foundation by Clinique is awesome, I know it helps with mildly oily skin. All of their foundation is under $20 and, they have a great variety. Plus, there are consultants who can help you find the right product for your skin.
Try Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse It's my favorite foundation it's the only thing i use. when you apply it use a damp warm sponge that way it's goes on smooth and sheer and not cakey. It makes your skin look perfect and evens out your tone and works great on oily skin, and it stays on all day even longer than 8 hours if you want. I definitely recommend it. You can get it at any drug store or anywhere really. It costs anywhere from $5 to $7 and it's worth every penny. good luck
just a tip- powder makeup is better for oily skin. i can't be sure on any brands, but i've noticed that either almay or maybelline have powders that might work. you can get those pretty much anywhere and their not totally expensive
Day Wear by Estee Lauder. It cost more than $20 but well worth it!
I have oily skin too! try using Almay products they make really good foundation for those with oily skin. Its about $13.00 or less depending on were you go.

How can I get rid of dry skin on my face without making it oily?
Lately, my face has been extra dry, and I'm not sure why. I'll apply some lotion, which I recieved from my dermatologist for acne treatment, and about three minutes later my face has dried up again. I've even tried shaving daily, thinking it will keep the dead layers of skin from building up, but nothing works. I'm out of ideas, and I'm fed up with this dry face. Any help?? Thanks!!How can I get rid of dry skin on my face without making it oily?
it will get worse if you have air con or heating as it dries out the skin. but something like a sensitive skin moisturiser would help (less oil), which your going to have to apply as soon as it dries up, it will gradually take longer and longer in between applications as the moisture in your skin builds up. hard work i know, but it will get better. How can I get rid of dry skin on my face without making it oily?
drink lots of water
U need a moistureizer or repairing lostion. Non-Oil based ofcourse.
aloe vera gels
Well the acne lotion is probably drying. It is okay to use it if you need to treat acne, you can just use it to ';spot treat'; any breakouts. Use a gental bar soap like Cetaphil and a light lotion such as Cetaphil or Theraplex. Shaving can be an irritant too, use some hair conditioner as your ';shaving gel'; when you shave.
i have dry skin, and I use the regular baby oil or the baby oil with shea and cocoa butter in it. Works good for me :)
talk to your dermatologist again and ask for something else.
Try the Clinique counter at the dept. store. They have a oil free moisturizer.
Use Dove deep moisture facial lotion. It's the best!
or I think Nivia has something for men but i wouldn't know how that works

I have combination/oily skin can anyone recommend a good home made facial recipe?
raw egg. leave for about 5 minutes before washing off. in addition, wash your face regularly with warm waterI have combination/oily skin can anyone recommend a good home made facial recipe?
I know of quite a few recipes though some of the ingredients are harder to find so I will give you the ones that have easier-to-buy ingredients :)
ROSE MASK - targets combination skin, balances the dry and oily areas:
* 2 tbspns Rosewater (chemist, cosmetics store)
* 6 rose petals (optional)
* 1 tbsp natural yogurt. (Use at room temp. and do not use low-fat or low calorie)
* 1 tbsp honey (preferably runny, heat in microwave for few secs. do not add boiling water)
Mix them up, apply to face and leave for 10-15 mins in order for it to work. Rinse well, pat dry with towel.
BANANA RECIPE - targets oiliness and soothes irritated, itchy, etc. skin
* 1 banana (ripe is better. For a cooling effect, freeze banana first and let it thaw before use)
* 1 tbsp honey
* orange or lemon (although the juice is used, it must come from the fruit, not from bottles or cartons of pre-mixed or concentrate)
Mash up banana and mix with honey till smooth and thick 'paste'. Add a few drops of orange or lemon (maximum of ten). Apply to face for 10-15 mins. Rinse well with either a cool, damp cloth, a warmly steamed cloth, or a hot-rinsed cloth.
MILK OF MAGNESIA - really simple, commonly known. For absorbing oil.
* buy a bottle of milk of magnesia (chemist, supermarket). Apply to face using patting motions or upward circular motions. Use fingers or cotton wool balls/pads. Leave for 10-15mins, rinse with clean, cool cloth.I have combination/oily skin can anyone recommend a good home made facial recipe?
Do not use egg on your face or any where on your body.
There's some homemade facial recipes here:
http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=02BCE3A4DD5E014A
Hope I helped :)
you should mix half a teaspoon of honey with egg whites and 1 tea spoon lemon juice and add fullers earth, mix it all up and apply to the face, leave this on for about 20Min's then remove it, this is a really effective method you should use.
other tips you should use, would be to splash COLD water over your face about 3 - 4 times a day, cold water will tighten the pores and reduce the appearance of oily looking skin.
Drink your average 8 glasses a day of water because this flushes away toxins from the body.
If your skin is the oily type that can affect your makeup and create that patchy look you should apply cucumber juice on your T zone ( forehead, nose chin) dry it well then apply your makeup.
you should use a face scrub to exfoliate the skin and deep cleansing about 2 times a week, a home made one would be honey with sugar, you mix the 2 together, apply on to your face then gently scrub, then rinse of with cold water. this well keep your face refreshed and reduce the oily appearance in your face.

Drugstore eyeliners for oily skin?
I have oily skin and I am thinking to get a new eyeliner since the one I'm using now doesn't work out for me (Wet'n'Wild H2o proof pencil eyeliner). My budget is under $10, so basically need to be drugstore products... Could anyone please recommend me some eyeliners that would stay for oily skin? Thank you very much.Drugstore eyeliners for oily skin?
Hey there.
A quality eye liner is important if you plan on wearing it for the whole day. I found cheap liners didn't slide on very smoothly, and would smudge and fade by the end of the day (especially applied on oily skin!). You say you're limit is $10, which is more than enough for a good eyeliner. You are not limited to a drugstore product. I am not familiar with most drugstore eyeliners, but I can recommend some that Sephora sell. The eyeliner I use from there is actually only $5. I use the Sephora brand eyeliner, and I use to use Mac's and other more pricier eyeliners, but Sephora's brand eyeliner is just as great. It comes in all sorts of colors and it's only 5 dollars!
Here is a link, you can order them online or visit your closest store. Best of all you can have a Sephora make up artist test it on you to see how you like it before you buy it. They can also show you how to use it and apply it best.

How about two eyeliners for under 10 dollars and it's not going anywhere.
Maybeline has them two eye pencils ( velvet black) . I use a base and a little eyeshadow to make sure it's dry on the upper lid.. ( just a little nude colour if I don't want eyeshadow) and burn the tip ( just a little) I wait a while then apply it. Mascara is a must as well. I have worked 16 hour shifts and wearing the makeup a couple hours before the 16 hour shift and a couple hours after.. It looked like I just applied it when I got home. This eyeliner went nowhere.. I would try it. I have done it for years. Many people have asked me what i used because my makeup always looks fresh.. Thank goodness.. I need it to stay on!
I have oily skin too and it sucks. Almay makes one that stays on for 10 hours or something like that. Its good stuff. I think Cover Girl makes one too, but I haven't tried that one. And if you are having trouble with your eyeshadow creasing you should use Loreal Decreaser. It's around 7.99 and its my best friend. Your eyeshadow will stay on for 8 hours with no touching up!

I don't think you can 'get rid' of it exactly...but you can use special face washes to deal with oily skin. For instance Neutrogena's Oil-free Acne wash is good since it contains no oil. You could also try use oil-blotting sheets (which I've heard of but never tried) and avoid staying in the Sun for long periods of time. Using an oil-free moisturizer is also a good idea.
All the best! 鈾?br>
How do i get rid of oily skin?
A home remedy that I've used is oatmeal. Just regular outmeal that you buy at a grocery store....non flavored....put on your face like a night mask for about 20 minutes should help.
Neutrogena really cuts the oil production. That's always helped me.
You ask it to leave :) Other than that I have no idea but as soon as you find out PLEASE tell me.

How do i know if I have an Oily skin????? or a dry skin?
im a guy of 20.. how could i know whether i have an Oily or a dry skin???How do i know if I have an Oily skin????? or a dry skin?
If you have oily skin.. When you touch your skin it will feel kind of greasy/wet like it needs washing.
And for dry skin.. your skin will feel flakey/hard..How do i know if I have an Oily skin????? or a dry skin?
if you have oily skin, then it looks oily. if you have dry skin then your skin often look white and ashy. if neither of these apply then you have regular skin. dry skin is usually itchy. oily skin shines in the light. mainly on the face is where you have oily skin though.
Most guys have oily skin, but here's a way to find out: wash your face like you normally do, but don't put on a lotion. If your skin is oily an hour or two later, it's oily. If it is dry, then your skin will feel tight
Oily skin is usually quite shiny and if you press down hard on it with a piece of card for about 30 seconds to a minute it should leave a grease mark. Dry skin is usually flakey and sometimes itchy.
Oily skin: It shines and reflects light. :D
Dry skin: It tends to peel easily and you have to use lots of moisturizer.
If you dont know maybe you have combination or normal

Does PAPAYA Really NORMALIZE COMBINE or OILY SKIN? PLZ HELP ME THANKX?
My Question is Only for Beauty Experts Plz Give 100% Right answers.Does PAPAYA Really NORMALIZE COMBINE or OILY SKIN? PLZ HELP ME THANKX?
Honey... You are on Yahoo! Answers... There are very few 100% right answers...
Remember... Papaya works as a MEAT TENDERIZER and will break down tissue if left on for too long... It is used on tough pieces of pork to make them edible and the papaya acids are dried in to a powder to use on food.
It can be VERY irritating!!
But from what I know, papaya acids Exfoliate the skin and the vitamins in the pulp help condition the skin.
They type of skin you have is because of the OIL GLANDS of the skin and there is no way on earth to stop your oil glands from producing oil. All you can do is to treat your skin right and it won't OVER PRODUCE oil and become greasy.
Too much acid and too much drying of your skin will cause your oil glands to go in to over drive and make your oily skin worse.
Too much rubbing after a shower will cause your oil glands to produce more oil.
Using too much of ANYTHING will cause your skin to make more oil.
But remember... Dry skin is NOT the opposite of Oily Skin. So if you do not moisturize with a moisturizer that is specifically for acne prone and oily skin, guess what happens? Your skin produces more oil to try and moisturize your skin!
You need to find a balance... Too much or too little will cause your skin to make more oil...
I have oily skin and I found that Clean %26amp; Clear Oil Free, Dual Action Moisturizer with Salicylic Acid acne medication (or the half price Target knock-off) works for me.
Try different things and just be gentle to your skin or else you will cause irritation鈥?and that is NEVER good!Does PAPAYA Really NORMALIZE COMBINE or OILY SKIN? PLZ HELP ME THANKX?

My problem is my oily skin.these days i am using olay face wash but of no use.my skin is also sensitive.tell?
any good face wash, moisturizer, sunscreen lotion easliy available in delhi, india. my skin also become red after using products on faceMy problem is my oily skin.these days i am using olay face wash but of no use.my skin is also sensitive.tell?
since you have sensitve skin you need a product with no chemicals, dyes or scents in them. for oily skin you need to use a cream facial wash. it is better for oily complexions.. try arbonne international.. it has all of these options.. i use it and love it..My problem is my oily skin.these days i am using olay face wash but of no use.my skin is also sensitive.tell?
use shanz husan's anticaptic lotion and face wash its very different because its all products made by harbal
i wouldn't use Olay. It is made for aging skin that lacks moisture. I'd start trying clean and clear oxygenating wash if you can get it. It doesn't overdry and gets your face clean. Dont use a moisturizer that has oils...use an oil free.
Using a scrub once a week is always healthy. It could be becoming red because it has retin A.
as u hav oily skin plz avoid scrubbin.. dont use oily creams or lotions which tends to make ur skin more oily.. use home mede face packs like multani mitti which helps to reduce oil secretion and use tomato juice as toner.. and wash ur face twice a day wit a medicated soap.. u can use cucumber juoce als..

how about use a oil control toner and use also a nature method of cleansing some u can find it in the kitchen like oatmeal put that in our face for about 15 minutes or cucumber. cucumber has a nature extract that clean our deep skin and also it take our dry make our skin smooth and clean..some times to much face wash it make our skin dry and dull...
i would suggest using facial scrubs or other products for oily skin. the same product isn't neccisarily right for everyone. expirement, you never know what your skin needs until you've tried.

Just Grow your Hair long and Build a six pack Bod..keep a care a damn attitude and play around with fashionable clothes......U cant change your face but you can change people perception from ugly to Unconventiopnally goodlooking...Trust me...it works
there is nothing you can do about having a small face, you'll just have to accept it, but as for the pimple problem, you can go and get some stuff to help prevent and remove acne. Yes it can be hard to have a daily routine of applying creme, and it can get annoying, but you should get Neutrogena Body Wash , you use it as you shower so this way you won't forget and it is easy to use. to prevent getting it during the summer you should take a short warm (not hot) shower after you sweat, and never go to bed without showering, in the summertime you sweat a lot and keeping the sweat on can cause a worse acne problem. Showering in the morning and night is healthy, but not long hot showers, take a five minute shower with warm or cold water, this way your skin is clean in the morning and in the night, also your parents don't have to complain about a massive water bill x] Eat right and take care of yourself.
i think its wats on the inside that counts
let your heart be handsome, not face. It will become normal after 18 years. ok dont worry about your small face have a big heart.
Once Santa went to a restaurant and asked the waiter to bring one Roasted Chicken. Waiter asked whether Indian Or Chineese? , Santa Replied Bring any one, I am here not to talk with him........
umm i think the pimples is coz of acne
u can buy some special acne soap and use it on ur face
see with a doctor how often u should apply the soap
get some skin care treatments and use them then you should be OK
I think Proactiv will do the trick.
Hi, John Deere! Or I鈥檇 better say ';ex Bumper Crop';? Did they get your old account deleted at last? BTW, stop using trademarks, you're gonna get sued for that.

use a toner dude...........it keeps the shine away.......and for pimple use mild face wash rather than soaps..........ur face is small ? well.........u cant blame anyone for that be happy with what u have........
proactiv.
Try this simple remedy. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the pimples like soap. The secret of keeping the skin clear is to keep it oil-free and clean. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/

Does eating have any affect at all on your skin immediately after you eat something?Does the skin on your face become oily after eating?
Some hot greasy foods would. You might as well wash your face after due to the timing of meals may lead to your face being oily anyway.Does the skin on your face become oily after eating?

Oily skin results when the sebaceous glands produce too much oil, giving skin a shiny appearance. Sometimes a greasy or sticky feel remains for several hours after cleansing. It is also characterized by larger pores than other skin types and is more prone to breakouts, clogged pores and blemishes. Oily skin
may tend to wrinkle less readily than drier skin types. The large amount of oil on the skin鈥檚 surface helps the upper layers retain water and protects the skin from environmental causes of dryness.
For oily skin, Mary Kay庐 products:
鈥?Help control surface oiliness, leaving skin feeling smooth and
looking radiant.
鈥?Deep clean pore openings of impurities and oily buildup.
鈥?Help makeup stay fresher longer.
No it does not.

Tea tree oil. It is a cure all... It's safe and doesn't hurt..
http://www.getridofthings.com/tea-tree-o鈥?/a>
Try it.. I use it and I have amazing results, it almost works overnight.. you have to use it consistently as with anything else.. but it is very very good. I highly reccommend trying this.
Also if you don't have a face exfoliator.. you can mix baking soda with the tea tree oil for a paste.. it works very well.. and afterwards dab tea tree oil on them.. it works good. =)
If you have a lot of acne try arbonne's clear advantage kit. It is pretty expensive but if you can afford it's worth the money. If you cant afford it try using clean %26amp; clear, it worked good and was very cheap. Try not to tuch your face when your hands are dirty, and if you have your hair touching your forehead wash your hair in the morning and night to remove oil's
Both my girls tried Proactive and it really works!
I use pro active it really works but you deffinatly want to go to www.proactive.com and join the club it takes 20 or more dollars of your product get the oil free mosturizer and daily oil mosterizer. I use it and within five days your skin will be baby soft. its 59.95 kind of expensive but its the only thing that works. hope it helps

how do i get rid of it?I have oily skin right on my forehead?
The most affordable way is to buy an inexpensive bottle of pure witch hazel and dab it on after you cleanse your face each day with a cotton ball. It is the main ingredient in most expensive skin toners. Also, a 99 cent bottle of rubbing alcohol is my cure all for zits and blackheads. Just to introduce myself my name is Joy and I am an independent consultant with Warm Spirit, Inc.
There are a many great ways to combat oily skin. One thing to use is a light facial cleanser. Avoiding over cleansing is the first and foremost step to depreciating the oil build-up. Seek out a light, clear, lemony cleanser that has a glycolic acid which gently exfoliates. A product with birch oil is also a great additive to fighting oily skin. The birch oil soothes and cools your skin. Lemon oil naturally unclogs and cleans the pores without stripping the skin.
A toner used prior to application of make-up is beneficial as well. Toners are known to control excessive oil and discourages bacteria without stripping your skin of its essential moisture. Use after cleansing and before applying make-up.
If you've never heard of Warm Spirit, Inc. be sure to check us out. We offer natural, organic body and treatment products that deliver a special, holistic spa-like experience.

What can i do about oily skin?
i have really oily skin, like if i wear coverup it will prob come half off after a few hours for how oily it is. i have tried many products but none have worked, i have even tried a tea tree clanser from the body shop and that didnt even work. does anyone know what i can use, please, maybe a good coverup that will absorb the oil, anything that will work, please let me know, thanksWhat can i do about oily skin?
Go to walmart, pick up three things, oil of olays' Daily Renewal Cleanser, this is a mild facial scrub that will slough off the dead skin cells that cause oily skin. Aveeno Moisturizer, the colloidial oatmeal in this helps to soothe skin irritation (oily skin is really just sensitive skin, overproducing oil to protect itself) and a jar of vaseline petroleum jelly with aloe and vitamin e. There are generic equivalents of all of these. Use the scrub twice a day, it is gentle enough to do so. Apply the Aveeno twice as well, as for the jelly, take a small amount, quite literally just a small pea size dollop, and rub vigorously into your skin. After a week of doing this, you will see your skin begin to clear and the oil balance The vaseline protects as it moisturizes, keeping your skins' oil in check, and if you rub it in well enough it will absorb with little to no greasiness whatsoever. As an addtl. tip: after washing with the scrub, wash with a gentle moisturizing cleanser like liquid, not bar, Dove, scrub with it for a minute. And always, always, if in the shower, adjust the nozzle pressure to a minimum, the water jetting out beats up your skin further irritating it. Use lukewarm water only, and instead of making the mistake of washing frequently, which only irritates, just splash some water on your face to dissolve the sebum (the oil like substance that makes your face shiny) and reapply some more jelly. I do this, I have had skin problems since I was a kid, and this is the only regimen that seems to work, remember, oily skin is irritated skin. What can i do about oily skin?
You shouldn't use cover-up, powder based or liquid based, it causes blemishes and clogs up the pours. Though, if you MUST wear cover-up, wear the powder based, it doesn't rub directly into the skin. A way to get rid of oily skin is to rub alcohol directly on the spots that contain a lot of oil. It wil dry the skin out, yes, but it will also prevent your skin from creating so much oil next time. As for small parts that are dry, try using toothpaste. Awkwardly enough, it will actually take the oil out. You could try Clean%26amp;Clear's foaming face wash, as well. It's very good with cleansing the skin, and removing oil.

It's very good with cleansing the skin, and removing oil.
i use biore pore perfect oil fighting something something.
now i dont even have oily skin but i bought it anyways
it claims to make your skin feel andlook softer and cleaner the whole day, and some other stufff
try it (: it makes me feel nice after i use it

Which makeup is best for oily skin?
My makeup fades away so fast!! Especially after PE.
I'm 13 years old and I wear Physicians Formula Mineral Wear..
I have an Oily T- Zone and my cover up looks great in the morning before I go to school, but then fades away by 2nd period!! I need to know which makeup (specifically concealer) is best for oily skin..Which makeup is best for oily skin?
usually any kind of oil free makeup lasts longer and is better for any skin type.especially oily skinWhich makeup is best for oily skin?
I like the Almay concealer specifically made for oily skin.
Heres the problem. You need a primer.
Apply the primer to your face before concelear and whatever other make up you wear.
The primer helps keep your make up in place. Go to Sephora.com I recommend Smashbox Photo Finish.
A good concealer for oily skin is probably from the body shop.
Along with their face powders.

Remember..sense you have oily skin its natural that you have to reapply to look fresh.
Instead of making it look more heavy than you need to..Just sweep the translucent powder over your T zone.
Sense your young, stay away from foundations. Less is more in this case.
also try Palladio Rice papers when your at home.. or in the morning.

Let's face it all these commercial products are
chemical based and can be injurious to you as
you have observed your face becomes red after
using these products. Why not go for freshly prepared
on a daily basis a home made product. All you have
to do is take a cup of besan (bengal gram flour -
channa ka atta) add one teaspoonful of turmeric (haldi)
powder, further add half a lemon juice. Now to this
mixture add as much water so that it forms a paste.
Now apply this paste not only on your face but your whole
body and wait for atleast 20 minutes before you wash.
If possible repeat in the evening (but if it is not possible
to take bath again) by applying it to the face only (but
freshly prepared mixture not anything balance from the
morning lot). Within a months time you will not only see
getting rid of oily face but you will have a dazzling glow
to your whole body. Meantime throughout the day do try
to wash the face with herbal soap containing natural
ingredients like neem and tulsi etc., to wash the excess
oil from your face. Lastly include in your meals a platefull
of salads with no oily dressing except lemon and honey
combination over it. Do also include fresh fruit in season
to enhance the effect and see the results for yourself.
Good luck.
face wash: cetaphill or dove sensitive skin facial cleanser.
toners: loreal pure zone
moisturizer: neutrogena moisture, oil free, sensitive skin
sunscreen: ombrelle / neutrogena
Try using Dove Soap for oily skin.
An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/
