It's the drug store kind but it's work well for me. I can go to cheer practice after school and sweat for hours and it doesn't smudge at all. good luck! :D

I would recommend water-proof, cake or powder. The water proof liner is sold by many different brands and at many different stores, a higher price does not always mean it's better either. Cake is great, you wet the brush and hardened pigment to apply, it dries and is not likely to smudge or smear. I personally like using a powder like MAC eyeshadow in Mystery or Carbon with a short angled brush to apply, it can be applied wet or dry. Wet is a stronger look and dry is a smokier look. You can use wet first then once dry go back over with the color dry and smoke it out. The only thing to be watchful of with powder is that it easily falls below your eye while applying so be on the lookout for that.
