Any home remedy for oily skin?

i have very oily skin..which gets tanned easily and also becomes dull when i step out in the sun.

any home remedy by which i can control all this?Any home remedy for oily skin?
You should give tea tree oil a shot. I had mild acne for a while and even tho I washed my face every night I still had acne. So I use tea tree oil and within a week my acne was pretty much gone except for a few spots here and there, which will fade soon too.

Tea tree oil can be used for any skin type even if you have very sensitive skin. And in that case I would dilute the oil with either water or aloe vera gel, which you can get at any drug store.

There are only two downsides to tea tree oil and that is is that the smell is pretty strong, and it can dry out your face a little, which can be taken care of by using a moisturizer.

The oil can be found in any drugstore/grocery store/health store next to the finger nail polish remover.

I would recommend putting it on at night before you go to sleep.

If you have any more questions there are many websites about this product, or feel free to ask me.Any home remedy for oily skin?
I know of a few. You could take some sea salt, mix it with lukewarm water and splash it on your face with every morning...I heard it really helps cut down on oil. You could use oil blotting sheets (http://www.thebeautymanifesto.com/blog/w… throughout the day...all you do is wipe one over your face and it removes oil for a couple of hours. Another good thing to do if you wnat to get rid of oiliness is not wash your face very much. Twice a day (morning and evening) is good, and you should use a milder cleanser. This way, your face is not stripped of natural, good oils and is not forced to compensate by producing even more sebum.

For tans...apply sunblock every day before leaving home. The higher spf the better. Or, if you use moisturisers or foundation, choose the ones that have spf 15 or higher. For dullness...There are a few natural products, like honey or lemon juice, that you can apply on your face and that gives it a nice glow (honey, just spread it thinly and evenly on your face, leave it on for about 20 minutes, then wash off. you can buy bottled lemon juice and pour a few drops on a cotton pad or ball, then wipe it on your face, leave on for about 20 minutes also, then wash off. Do this once a day). If you wear makeup, you can also use bronzers and highlighters....they give your face a nice glow.
