[Oily Skin] Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation?

Apparently this is a really good foundation and includes all the layers you need.

If you have oily skin would you still need to touch it up with powder during the day?

It says it is suitable for ALL skin types..

Do you think it would prevent oily skin, as it says there is no need for powder?

By the way, please don't advertise other brands, unless it meets the requirments of the question.

Thanks.[Oily Skin] Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation?
How oily is your skin? I have super oily skin, and even the expensive makeup that's made for oily skin doesn't make a bit of difference for me! However if your skin is only slightly oily then it may work well for you. (Unfortunately I have not actually tried this foundation .... I am currently using Aromaleigh brand mineral makeup [www.aromaleigh.com] since mineral makeup is healthier for your skin than regular -- plus this is the only brand that makes a foundation light enough for me!)

Also, I've found that touching up with powder to prevent shine is a bad idea -- the powder just mixes with the oil on your face to create a muddy mess! Instead try touching up with blotting sheets (Clean and Clear makes some affordable ones) -- they soak up the oil without messing up your makeup! Blotting sheets are definitely my life-saver product :)

I also don't believe than any makeup can PREVENT oily skin. (It may absorb the oil and/or create a mattifying effect, but I doubt it will actually make your skin produce less oil, unless it has some drying medications in it like salicylic acid -- but even that doesn't work for everyone. I've tried tons of products and NONE made a difference with my oily skin!) Most recent research seems to indicate that most really oily skin is caused by one of two things:

1. A moisture imbalance in your skin/body -- when your skin gets dehydrated, it overcompensates by producing more oil. If this is the case, you may be able to improve your oily skin by drinking more water, taking omega-3 supplements, using a noncomedogenic (won't clog pores) moisturizer, and avoiding harsh cleansers and acne products that dry out your skin.

2. An imbalance of the hormone androgen. Not sure if there's an easy cure for this .... birth control helps some people but not all.

You are certainly welcome to try the Max Factor foundation, and if it doesn't work pick up some blotting sheets or try some of the tips above to prevent oily skin! Good luck and I hope you find something that works for you![Oily Skin] Max Factor Miracle Touch Foundation?
If it's oil-free then i guess there's no need to touch it up with a powder unless you really have a severe oily skin problem.
i have this makeup and i also have very oily skin...............if you wear a oil free face cream under your makeup you wont have any problems
